Symptoms started Jan 6th, and I've been staying home from work since last Thursday. Went into to see my doctor on Friday, they took a sample and gave me a Tamiflu prescription. Stuff needed: Plastic tub, fan, ice, towel

1) Fill tub with ice
2) Set up fan next to tub
3) Secure towel so that it covers the front of the fan and half of the tub
4) Turn on fan

This is currently keeping my bedroom at about 80 degrees

ToorCamp looks like it'd be a lot of fun, but I really don't like flying, and I'd like to have a couple people I know to hang out with there. So, carpool/shared campsite anyone? Registration is $150 until the end of this month and then goes up to $200. Anyone interested? It's far enough that taking turns driving would be necessary.

The Bay Area Maker Faire is in about 2 months. I'd like to go, but I don't like doing such things alone... so who wants to go with me?

I went to the CCSF clinic today to have blood drawn. The nurse made two attempts, neither of which worked. Meanwhile, I am struggling to maintain consciousness (I REALLY don't do well with needles). I currently have a Chase Visa with a 7.99% Fixed APR that I've had for several years and never had a late payment on (yay autopay). I just got a notice in the mail informing me that they would be increasing this to a variable APR of 7.99% PLUS PRIME. Currently, that would be a little less than 12% total. So, I went to visit some friends in Davis over the weekend, and coincidently, Sunday was Moving Day, so of course, a night of diving was in order. One of my friends announced after a D&D game that it was time to go dumpster diving, so he, his girlfriend and my brother went out.
