I played around with Teddy's reaction quite a bit trying to write this, and suddenly it just seemed to fit that he would pre-empt his parents in announcing it to the Weasleys, hoping to get a bit of sympathy. Poor kid.

My youngest's Indian name means "determined," and it fits her to a T. I am well acquainted with stubborn children. ;)

It's a great idea to have Ron be the one to share a little insight about having a little sister.

I was going to write in Harry at first, but what does he know about having a sister? And I like the idea of Ron getting it, and being sympathetic to Teddy's plight.

Now let's see if I can write something longer than 300 words. :o

Great yo see fic from you! And so needing the AU right now! I think that is a great kid reaction, because you know Teddy has been spoiled rotten! And a dog would probably be better;)
