So, there's something you all should know about me. I have this massive crush on the actor Doug Jones. It hit me about a month ago when I was on YouTube looking for something unrelated, and it's only grown stronger since then.
Let me explain. You've probably
seen him in something if you're into genre film in any way--he's famous for having played

Tell, tell, as whom would you cast him?

He is indeed adorable. He's a grown man with the mannerisms of an unusually friendly tabby kitten. I don't know how he got that way, but I hope he never stops.

I discovered him with Hellboy and fully support your refusal to watch either of the Fantastic Four movies. I ran into one on television with some friends once and instantly screamed and changed channels back to Constantine-which we had just fled-because at least we had the chance of Tilda Swinton there.
(Then it turned out that Jones himself knows that Tumblr exists and has an account and reads people's posts about him AND likes "Wingmen." And then Zelda and I both exploded into a million pink candy hearts. The End.)
Seriously?
YAY DOUG JONES.

I dunno, I just posted fifteen hundred words about Leslie Howard. That count?

Yes, seriously Jones has a Tumblr just as we poor mortals do. It's very cute. Every so often he goes through his own tags and likes nice things that fans say about him, and the fans swoon in all directions.
I try not to be sloppily enchanted with celebrities, but Doug Jones has a plush dog named Zekey, and Zekey has his own twitter account (https://twitter.com/ZekeyDog), do you see my difficulty here
I love that you appreciate Leslie Howard, who I would have gone on thinking of as that guy from GwtW who was kind of underwritten, if you hadn't opened my eyes to his achievements.

We didn't hit any of his scenes! I am vaguely sorry, but not enough to go back and re-watch for him. It was pretty dire at the point where we decided to jump ship and were devil-you-knowed by The Fantastic Four.

That's really lovely. I'm glad he can interact both professionally and kindly with his fanbase. Not all actors can-not all actors try, and it's fair of them not to-but it's really fun to watch someone pull it off. Apparently the Sleepy Hollow cast are also known for their classy geek cred. handful_ofdust and strange_selkie both reblog a lot of Orlando Jones.

I began to notice him for real in 2006 or 2007, I think, after imprinting on his Scarlet Pimpernel in childhood; I am really glad to ( ... )

If I had to guess, I'd say he and Doug Jones are at the comfortable level of celebrity--they get some positive attention at cons and get recognized in the street, but they aren't famous enough for it to turn the corner and become burdensome (as far as I can tell from over here). Good for them.
I'm in a public cafe so I can't verify this, but I'd assume that Peter Stormare as Lucifer is available on YouTube. I would recommend watching his five minutes of screen time. I don't know if the context would be too annoying for you to enjoy watching Tilda Swinton's final form as Gabriel, but she looked astonishing.
