I know I just read it... googled forever and I know someone will know it right off... Derek and Stiles are together and either right before or on Derek's birthday he forgets them and thinks a spell has been lifted and he leaves Stiles. He even accuses Stiles of doing the love spell....Turns out the cake would have fixed everything as they were
