Title: Chaos Theory [13/?]
Pairing: House/Cameron
Rating: R
Summary: They would never dream of breaking this fixation. Proximity can be a dangerous thing.
Author’s Note: I am so sorry for the unbelievably long wait. This chapter is more filler than anything, so it probably doesn’t involve the drama you’ve been waiting for. The next one is the doozy

I was typing up my own fic and talking to my friend on msn and I casually glanced over at my flist and saw this and the conversation went like this: *copy/pastes*
Bek says: HOLY FUCK
Bek says: I HAVE TO GO
Bek says: MY FAVOURITE HOUSE/CAMERON FIC JUST GOT UPDATED
Bek says: BACK SOON
And man, oh man. So good. You said it was filler but it felt like...feelings. Like raw and angry and worried and scared and it was amazing to see their reactions to their time away, how they managed to not-deal, how they were able to hide it (kind of) from their workmates and friends. You nailed Wilson, and Chase and Foreman's part was fantastic. I loved the bit where Chase capitulated after three seconds, and my favourite line was:

YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH THAT MADE ME GRIN.
I am so glad you liked it, especially the Chase/Foreman characterisations, because I don't play with them nearly enough and their banter is hard to get down. And I tell you what, your fic totally jazzed me for the whole week, so we're even *grins*
LOVE YOU BACK ♥

People in a world he had never wanted to be a part of. A world he just preferred to just analyse and unravel from afar.
She was threatening to drag him into it. He remembered the way her eyes skittered over his when he came into the office that morning, the longing and sadness and regret that passed between them for a millisecond before he looked away. He didn’t want to be a part of her world.
He couldn’t.
So he would hide.
This was beautiful... just terrific...
And great banter b/w House & Wilson, and House & ducklings. He just loves avoidance! Terrific chapter! As always, great job! Will be looking forward to next parts!

Your insight into these two (and everyone else for that matter) just gets sharper and sharper. And the tension, the tiredness - its beautifully constructed.
I had a lump in my throat from the first sentence.
