Is there a babysitting co-op in your town? We joined one of the two in our town this fall, so babysitting is free money-wise.

You mean like we swap watching each other's kids? I live in an apartment, so there's not much room as it is.

Yes, just like that. In ours, evening sits are usually done at the sittee's house, and daytime sits are done at the sitter's house. I'm sure you could make arrangements to meet at whichever home is larger, depending on whether you are bringing your kids along.
