Installing Linux wouldn't do squat to help...my problem isn't the OS, it's the software.

Okay, I admit it; The comment had very little practical or comedic value.

In my defense, though, you were awfully non-specific, and with a new operating system comes the chance to run different applications to perform the same work.

Yes, it's flimsy defense, but it's the only defense I have.
