Dec 31, 2008 05:01

For those who don't remember last year's review: Jump

1) Was 2008 a good year for you? Resoundingly, yes! I was able to get debt payed down, continued in the longest relationship of my life, and held down a full time job while supporting two people.

2) What was your favorite moment of the year? After doing a little skimming of old articles, I think its when I blew up a toner cartridge: Jump Or going to see Video Games Live in concert.

3) What was your least favorite moment of the year? Again it was watching my grandfather get old and sick.

4) Where were you when 2008 began? I really have no recollection, which makes me think I was home alone, sleeping.

5) Who were you with? It was either alone or with Val.

6) Where will you be when 2008 ends/ended? I actually have plans for my new years! I really wanted to be out with Jamieson, but Dave, Val, and I will be visiting with my parents and heading up north to an early ski trip vacation.

7) Who will you be with when 2008 ends/ended? Val, Dave, my parents.

8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2008? I believe my plan was to continue to put effort into my relationship with Val and pay down a large amount of debt, both resolved nicely.

10) Did you fall in love in 2008? Yes, beyond already being in love with Val

11) If yes, with who? ...with kittens and children

12) If yes, do they know? The kitteh knows, the children do not.

13) Are you still in love with them? I am now, and will be for another year.

14) Do you regret it? I'm glad to have some animal companionship, but the dealing with the long fur really sucks.

15) Did you breakup with anyone in 2008? Nope, not since '06.

16) Did you make any new friends in 2008? I guess I didn't, only acquaintances.

17) Who are your favorite new friends?

18) What was your favorite month of 2008? June seems to be a good month for me.

19) Did you travel outside of the US in 2008? Yes, in fact! Went on a Caribbean Cruise with Val's family. My favorite stop was Grand Cayman, where its pretty much just Brits in the Carib.

20) How many different states did you travel to in 2008? Didn't do much national traveling this year. Thing most was flight Michigan to Florida.

21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2008? No, this year had been fine. I'm cautiously optimistic about '09

22) Did you miss anybody in the past year? I'm missing my friends from Marquette. I saw Katie once this summer and have seen Courtney a few times, but its really been too long. Ashley was supposed to call me while she was back in Michigan... I'm not sure what happened to that.

23) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2008? Iron Man, without a doubt!

24) What was your favorite song from 2008? This year, I mostly just rediscovered old music. I think "Jay Soto's Stay Awhile" came out early in the year.

25) What was your favorite record from 2008? I recently bought the Tsubasa Chronicle Soundtrack; flippin amazing.

26) How many concerts did you see in 2008? Video Games Live! w00t!

27) Did you have a favorite concert in 2008?

28) Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2008? Not really, for a while I was drinking a lot of beer, but I've pretty much cut it out to try to save monies.

29) Did you do a lot of drugs in 2008? My drug habits diminish as I get older. I only rarely take anythign for a headache, even.

30) How many people did you sleep with in 2008? (Weird to say, but) One.

31) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year? Not going through with a threat to take my former landlord to small claims court.

33) What was the worst lie someone told you in 2008?

34) Did you treat somebody badly in 2008? Probably

35) Did somebody treat you badly in 2008? At&t; Cindy Lambright

36) How much money did you spend in 2008? I've spent upwards of $20,000 this year.

37) What was your proudest moment of 2008? Supporting myself and my S/O and still managing to pay of my student loans.

38) What was your most embarrassing moment of 2008? I'm not sure, I think I've been pretty restrained this year.

39) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2008 and change something, what would it be? I'm not big on the changing, just want to relive the adventures away from home.

40) What are your plans for 2009? I resolve to: keep my truck alive until its 21st birthday; make some major growth spiritually and personally; and save enough for a house of my own... no matter where that is.
