Dec 31, 2007 18:28

For those who don't remember last year's review: Jump

1)Was 2007 a good year for you? Absolutely! Starting a wonderful, rewarding relationship; graduating; shooting things; getting a job and apartment...

2) What was your favorite moment of the year? Running around outside, in my boxers, at 2 am, trying to shoot raccoons out of the tree. Jump

3) What was your least favorite moment of the year? Watching my grandfather get old and sick.

4) Where were you when 2007 began? Spending the evening with Jim and Vanessa; drinking UV Blue, beer, and watching a ball drop on television.

5) Who were you with? Jim and Vanessa

6) Where will you be when 2007 ends/ended? [I'm going to use the same line I used last year.] "This year, I will be 'alone' [in my apartment], probably zoned out in a video game, completely oblivious to the year-end.

7) Who will you be with when 2007 ends/ended? Cinnamon, my cute stuffed animal.

8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2007? My plan was to stay out of "dead-end-relationships" and continue to take more time for myself. I've kept to my plan! I'm starting the new year with a gal who is the absolute love of my life (hitting a new personal relationship milestone of one year), and have learned the joy of simply sitting with my thoughts.

10) Did you fall in love in 2007? Contrary to my thoughts of the previous year, I can fall in love, and fall hard.

11) If yes, with who? Valerie "The WarMuffin" DeAngelo

12) If yes, do they know? Know... yes. Conciously processing the thought... that's debatable.

13) Are you still in love with them? I am now, and will be for another year.

14) Do you regret it? I have never felt so happy, respected, or loved in my entire life. I absolutely do not regret it.

15) Did you breakup with anyone in 2007? Nope, all of my breakups were in '06.

16) Did you make any new friends in 2007? Yes.

17) Who are your favorite new friends? PK & Jeff!

18) What was your favorite month of 2007? June

19) Did you travel outside of the US in 2007? Nope, and I still have no plan to in 2008.

20) How many different states did you travel to in 2007? I've had quite a few road trips this summer. Most of them up to Ionia and Marion in Michigan, where my parents moved. Outside the state, Val and I trekked to Madison, WI for an interview with Epic and we took a trip to Cedar Point in Sandusky with Jon and Steph.

21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2007? One of my cousin's passed this year. I've also permanently moved away from Marquette and all of my Northern friends.

22) Did you miss anybody in the past year? I still haven't seen Katie in over a year! We chat online and I'm constantly stalking her on LJ and facebook. Its also been about a year since I've seen Ted. I could use another A/V bar night.

23) What was your favorite movie that you saw in 2007? I guess 300 and The Golden Compass were the best movies of the year.

24) What was your favorite song from 2007? Weird Al's "Don't Download This Song"

25) What was your favorite record from 2007? I bought Trapt's "Someone in Control", which was a suburb album (though it was released in '05).

26) How many concerts did you see in 2007? Just one; the 8 bit guys at Northern.

27) Did you have a favorite concert in 2007?

28) Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2007? I drank enough; only threw up once.

29) Did you do a lot of drugs in 2007? My drug habits diminish as I get older. I don't even take aspirin anymore.

30) How many people did you sleep with in 2007? One.

31) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year? There must be something, but I'm not able to think of it right now.

33) What was the worst lie someone told you in 2007?

34) Did you treat somebody badly in 2007? I'm sure.

35) Did somebody treat you badly in 2007? AT&T treats me like crap every time I call.

36) How much money did you spend in 2007? I've spent in the neighborhood of 11 thousand dollars this year. That's almost 3 times as much as I've spent in any other year.

37) What was your proudest moment of 2007? Landing a job and getting an apartment.

38) What was your most embarrassing moment of 2007? When Val and I couldn't restrain ourselves in the car, I tried to find a secluded place to park, but some guys drove by in a topless jeep and could clearly see everything we were doing.

39) If you could go back in time to any moment of 2007 and change something, what would it be? I would go back to those nights drinking beer around the campfire. Not to change anything, just to enjoy the feeling again.

40) What are your plans for 2007? I expect my self discoveries to continue as I move through the following year. My practical goals are to: pay off my student loans, find a house, and metaphorically poke at Val until she gets sick of me.
