hmmmm...i'm the psychologist here, so perhaps i can help you figure out what causes you to be depressed. well, people who are depressed have low levels of serotonin, a neurotransmitter known for affecting mood. sometimes when the serotonin reaches the axon and attempts to reach to the next dendrite at the synapse (the space between the axon and neighboring dendrite), the serotonin is not picked up by the dendrite and remains stuck at the axon. this causes a low amount of serotonin to pass through the brain's neurons and makes people depressed. i on the other hand have too much serotonin, which is overproduced by my brain and makes me anxious. if only i could give you some to make us both normal, but i can't. that is what goes on in your brain to make you feel depressed. anyways, i hope you feel better. hopefully i will be able to see you soon. bye bye then ;P

Aw babe! It makes me sad when you are depressed because you are so nice and nice people should be happy! See, if you are feeling depressed and you can't really place what the cause is, it is most likely what Adam said, a chemical imbalance. He makes it sound all complicated though! You ever see those Zoloft commercials with the happy bouncing head? Well if you watch that they have a little diagram of the brain cells, and how zoloft works to even out the chemicals. So listen, you could have the perfect life, but if your chemicals in the brain are out of whack, it could still be causing you to feel depressed for no reason at all. I would suggest going to a doctor that will prescribe you an anti-depressant. I can't remember if you are already on one or if you have been in the past. But really, they help a lot. I have Zoloft and it has helped me tremendously. There's a lot of good ones out there though. And remember, I'm ALWAYS here to help you, so don't be afraid to ask anything, okay!? I love you!!!

i don't want to take meds, they make you in less control of yourself, and i dont' like that. and i'm scared of them. and it's not like i'm always like this... just every once in a while for a couple of weeks or so. i don't know.... ^cries^ i just don't like it, but i could live with it if i needed to, i don't know......
