So it's 10:00, and I'm guessing we're not making the annual Thanksgiving Eve pilgrimage to the town where I grew up. See, every year the scattered members of my dad's generation (none of whom have regular names--they go by things like Moose and Duck and Bear and Ref) get together at the local Irish-ish bar and have a few drinks and tell stories

...Yeah. Okay. So there's my big confession. ;) *waits to be flogged by your f-list* I wish I was self-confident enough to either wear my geekiness with pride (metaphorically since I'm not into t-shirts), or at least not feel like it makes me unattractive in some way to admit I do things like write fanfic and roleplay. ...Oookay, I am not allowed to metaphor after 2am anymore.
And why would there be flogging here? We don't do that unless people like that sort of thing. XD
Like I said, I was totally unconfident in my geekery for a really long time--it's only in the past couple of years that I've kind of found my footing as both a human being and a nerd. I know you will, too. :)
