So this evening we did my favorite part of the Christmas shopping: buying presents for the Giving Tree kids.

It's partly because there aren't any little kids left in our family, so we don't usually have a lot of excuses to wander down the toy aisles. But mostly, it's just fantastic fun to spoil the heck out of kids we don't even know. A two-year-old

That is awesome ♥ I love, love, love hearing about things like this. ^_^ I think the best thing I learned this year is that Christmas really is meant to be a happy time, but it takes a bit of effort. Thank you for sharing ^^ You've inspired me; I'd love to do this for a family here, too.
