i knew i had to make this vid ever since i first walked out of the cinema after watching 'a single man' - i only realized later on, that shigeru umebayashi had also made a few songs for the movie ;) probably why i immediately connected the movie with this song i used here.

it's a simple & slow vid - but i hope you like it anyway...

i'm so happy you like it :D you absolutely should go watch the movie! it's completely beautiful (although this kinda spoiled it a bit).
& i don't know a lot of umebayashi's music, but what i do know is simply gorgeous. i got this song from the 'in the mood for love' soundtrack, and i know he also made some stuff for 'house of flying daggers'.

(+ erh, no! you're right i should probably change this. i don't know why i put it there, didn't even really think about it...)

Lovely vid! Very atmospheric; what came through most for me was a very tangible sense of yearning. (I haven't seen the movie yet; it's on my to-watch list, but I think this vid just bumped it up a few places.)
