'a single man' vid

i knew i had to make this vid ever since i first walked out of the cinema after watching 'a single man' - i only realized later on, that shigeru umebayashi had also made a few songs for the movie ;) probably why i immediately connected the movie with this song i used here.

it's a simple & slow vid - but i hope you like it anyway...

Your vids always have a way of blowing me away.
The quick transitions - especially between a dark scene and what seems a fake-happy scene or a close-up of a face with the underwater, etc - really evoke a sense of urgency and despair.

i'm extremely happy that this worked for you, especially without having seen the movie (?) it's a pretty slow movie, but there's actually quite a lot happening - this jumping around in between scenes just came sorta natural :) anyway. thanks again for this wonderful comment, *squishes*

Oh, this is almost painful to watch. In a good way of course! I just mean you've captured that slow, heavy feeling of grief that permeated the film so well.
