I’m doing this post to clear up the tiny bit of drama that’s taken place today.

Today, an Ljer by the name of tricksterschild posted two comments. One on my post to the LJ comm bbcsherlock and one to my newest fic, We Believe. *hugs* Oh Tam, I'm so sorry that this has happened! I know that you've put so much energy into that fic. Hive mind does happen in fandom, and it's wonderful that kcscribbler was willing to step in and help clear things up.

*hugs* I apologize again for an evidently overzealous fan. Your fic is lovely (I especially loved the description of the murals!), and I'm sorry something like this should happen on your first fanfic. I'm going to rec your fic on my LJ in some small effort to make amends, just so you're aware when the pingback bot notifies you.

I read both stories, separately, and did not think for a second that you stole anything! Both are v. v. good.

I'm so, so sorry you had to go through this, but I hope it's some comfort to know you took all the right steps in order to establish your integrity and credibility.

Please don't let this derail you / your writing!

Considering this has never happened before, I wasn't sure *how* to tackle this, at first. I just did what I thought would work in the situation and hoped for the best. Luckily, it seems I picked the right path.

I won't. The support has been overwhelming, and I've managed to see the good in all of this. Thank you so much. <3

I officially apologize for being "overzealous." In my eyes, it was very similar, and I have seen many of my favorite authors being stolen from in the past, so I get rather touchy about it. I apologize that I upset you, as it is not a very nice welcome into what is actually a very awesome fanbase, and I really should have just contacted the author first and leave it to them. So again, I AM sorry.
