Accusations.
I’m doing this post to clear up the tiny bit of drama that’s taken place today.
Today, an Ljer by the name of tricksterschild posted two comments. One on my post to the LJ comm bbcsherlock and one to my newest fic, We Believe. It is my first Sherlock fic and I worked very hard on it. tricksterschild stated in both comments that not only was the fic stolen, but that I had stolen from an author who I am actually quite enamoured with-kcscribbler.
The fic in question is the amazingly incredible ‘I do Believe’. Which I have read and reviewed on FF.net. After reading the fic over again (Which I was happy to do) I sent kcscribbler a PM explaining the situation. She read my fic and agreed that no, I had not stolen it, and asked if there was anything she could do to help clear up the misunderstanding. She has placed two public comments explaining that the fic is not stolen.
For anyone who read and enjoyed the fic, and then thought I betrayed you by stealing it, I assure you I would never. I find plagiarism revolting and would never sink so low.
