i had a really lovely christmas this year. despite the fact that we had poor weather when i was expecting it to be warm (and thus brought my swimming costume instead of a cardigan) it was nice to just rest and have some down time with my family. on christmas eve, which is also my dad's birthday, we stopped at this nice restaurant in a country town

i've never heard of alanna hill, but all those close are so fantastic! And those pants look really good on you, I think they'd be lovely with heels. looks like you got an amazing haul this year :]

thank you! & she's this australian designer and she makes the most incredible clothes! it's a wonder she's not better known overseas but maybe that'll change in the next few years?
& thank you, i definitely plan on wearing them with heels but i couldn't be bothered to put some on to stand on my bed for the photo, hahaha.

awww, thank you! :] & it's pretty expensive, yeah. except most things in this post were bought on sale cause there was a big sale before christmas and then of course the post-christmas sales as well. i don't usually go for the more expensive items of clothing but when there's everything i could ever want in one shop it's hard not to, haha. plus it's nice to have some 'nice' things cause all i usually buy for myself is cheap stuff from vinnies or cotton on and i don't have much that will really last a long time, so think for clothes that i love as much as the ones alannah hill makes, it's worth the extra money. :]

I never heard of Alannah Hill but I'm completely in love with her clothes! :D You got such lovely gifts! I love all the ribbon! :P

thank you! & you should check her out. she's an australian designer and i don't know if a lot of her clothes get distributed overseas but she is amazing!

This is the post I have been waiting for!! Alannah Hill Christmas!

You have such amazing taste, and wear everything so wonderfully! I was working on Boxing day, and then Andrew and I drove to my parents, so I haven't had a chance to get any sale-shopping done.

So ... living vicariously through you in the meantime haha
