Hey! Lens flare!

Upon reflection, the passage of time, and some discussion, I've decided I'm still in for Sleepy Hollow.  Yes, the pilot was like an outline of a six hour mini series, careening from plot point to plot point like a runaway rollercoaster through the Haunted Mansion (and I use the words plot point in full realization that they don't really have a lot ( Read more... )

They had me with Clancy Brown! Seeing The Kurgan lose his head again was epic!

I'm intrigued and not just because I used to live 15 minutes away from there!

I'm still bummed they aren't filming it in NY.

I did have a few issues:

1. Did the pickling of the head preserve it from being destroyed by the sun or something? Because otherwise shouldn't it have gone poof when the sun came up?

2. The village of Sleepy Hollow doesn't have a sheriff. They have a police department, a police chief, 27 police officers, three civilian employees and four school crossing guards. "The department includes the following units: Detectives, Bike Patrol, K-9, School Resource, Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, and Marine." (I just looked it up to double check!)

Pickling absolutely changes the metaphysical properties of the physical manifestation of one of the Four Horsemen. Known fact.

They made some interesting choices across the board, but I suspect they went with sheriff because a sheriff is perceived as more independent than a departmental officer.

I can't wait for them to discuss the pickling thing.

Oh, I just discovered they moved filming from Atlanta to... HERE! They are filming several miles away and all around. LOL
It's like the Headless Horseman is following me around in real life!
