Supernatural Ratings Woes Grow

Well said. Some of the most passionate fans I know have stopped watching since the beginning of this season, because they don't want their love for the show killed by where it's going. Sad.

If this was a book, I'd have read the ending about the middle of last season just to make sure that the emotional trama -- to me AND the boys -- was worth it.

Bingo. I've gotten to where I DVR it. Partly because of the perpetual "Oh woe!" factor, and partly because on Friday, it's on opposite things I love that DON'T tear my heart out. Depending what kind of hell they put us through during the mid-season cliffhanger, I wonder how much of the fanbase won't return in 2011?

I have the last four saved but I haven't had the heart to watch them... I read Destina's reaction and I think yes, then the next moment, I'm back to "not yet"... sigh...

Oh, honey! As someone who has done a lot of not-watching over the last 2 seasons until I thought it would be safe...watch them! I really think they will make you feel better. 6.07, for real, was so very--I don't know. It was *adorable*. And also, hot. 6.06 is a little bit upsetting, but it is the necessary bit before they can start to fix it.

I dunno. I am very much hopeful about this season. I am totally blaming the Friday slot. It is the slot of death. OF DEATH, I TELL YOU!

Could you tell me why you're hopeful? Because I would very much like to be hopeful again.

Of course I will! Though with the conditions that you do not tell me spoilery things that totally invalidate anything I say (do not even tell me you know them!), or make compelling arguments about why I'm wrong. My SPN zen is, you know. A disturbingly hard-won thing ( ... )

And that, of course, was not all I had to say. Stupid LJ with its comments limit ( ... )
