I read an early review of CK's first single released under his new big boy label (Columbia) and the review said (among other inane things and maybe one point that had some validity) that the song -- More Than I Deserve -- is about a man telling his woman that she's more than he deserves ( Read more... )

Well, I do but I've forgotten how to embed in comments (again)(sigh) so you'll have to cut and paste.

You did make me laugh with that tin hat comment! But I have to ask because I'm curious like that, who did he share a house with? I like the band but am not such a huge fan that I know a lot about them or him.

My gripe with the song is that I don't like it as much now it's so produced, you could listen to the full version on myspace, (for a short while anyhow) and it didn't float my boat the way the original one did.

You made me laugh again with the line about him stopping making movies you don't really want to see! I'd have to agree with you wholeheartedly, and if the gender biased review gets that, well then we can let it slide, I've seen Kane live twice in UK and they were great both times. Hope they come your way soon!

I had heard that he'd shared a house for a short while with Steve and Jensen. Now, I may have heard wrong but safe within the confines of my Chris/Steve (and sometimes Jensen) tinhat, I'm holding tight to that. *g*

I agree it is a bit overproduced (that was where I thought the reviewer had some validity) and I like the accoustic version much better. But then, I'll always default to a live recording if I have a choice.

Not that I haven't enjoyed some of his movies but I watched a movie with Aston Kutcher in it for CK so as far as I'm concerned he can quit movies any time and make lots more music! I'm really hoping Columbia sends him out on a tour that covers more than Nashville, LA, and the UK...
