While the codenames Texas and Specs are pretty self-explanatory as to where they came from, I couldn't help but wonder where Templar came from. Lo and behold I'm flipping through the channel guide and I see a show called The Saint, with it's main character named... Simon Templar. (Coinky-dink? Probably.)

I think this may be self explanatory but I'm interested to know who everyone's favourite characters are.  Oh, and Simon and Jeremy don't count for the obvious reason that clearly everyone loves them. >.>

I'm not sure but I think I may have pointed out one or two times that my favourite character is Bran. Very loudly. With a great deal of glee...

So I've been thinking about this, in a semi-parallel to our previous casting discussion, on and off while rereading: every character in the novels has a distinct voice in my head- clearer than their actual physical characteristics, in fact- but I can't quite correlate them to people in real life. Who do you guys think everyone should sound like?

I have discussed this question before with a few people, but I'm curious to get a few other perspectives on it.

I don't know if anyone is interested in posting some of Simon's worst behavior toward Jeremy or most hurtful comments. One of the things I enjoyed most about this series is watching Simon's progression throughout. I didn't see a great deal of struggle for him about sleeping with Jeremy. Well, we've discussed the sexiest and fluffiest moments, and we've discussed the funniest moments, but SoTT is also pretty heartbreaking at certain points.

There are two scenes for me that are particularly sad.
