Approaching the mess hall, with work still on her mind, Emma hadn't exactly planned on sticking around the mess. But the shock of green hair told her Lorna was standing there, and Emma indulged in a brief smile.

But the simple little gift, that was what Lorna devised, and at least it would show Emma that Lorna was still 'hers' in a way. She wasn't about to believe that Emma had her brought here just because she'd gotten out of prison a little rough around the edges, undoubtedly, Lorna was there because Emma needed help figuring out what was going on where she couldn't see.

"Lorna, darling, thank you." The necklace and bracelet were exactly her style; without being too flashy but tasteful and with enough of a value that she would be content wearing them. "You really didn't have to."
And she didn't, and Lorna probably knew that she didn't, but the fact that she did was a sort of buzz anyway. Emma knew that Lorna was very much her girl when it came to the base, in fact the green haired magnetism manipulator was probably the only person on the base who genuinely liked Emma anyway. "How have you been? Was your training with Sykes comfortable?"
