Routine Check-up *RP for Ophelia*

She was used to being alone but Betsy didn't often feel lonely. She missed Jack even if she agreed with the punishment. She wasn't really aware when it happened but at some point the other members of the team sort of faded into the background for her and she only really hung out with her lover. Was it fair to seek out friends she neglected now that ( Read more... )

The knock was strange -people never came to see her, not even when she was sharing the room with Tabitha at first. Ric never knocked for anyone anyway so it couldn't be him. Since she was prone to peeking at surprises anyway, Ophelia had a little read at who was behind her door and then let a smile cross her face.

Elisabeth.

It wasn't that they were great friends, not in the least, however since the calming sort of practice Elisabeth had preformed on Ophelia's mindset, well the girl was really doing a whole lot better. Bouncing across to the door, grinning broadly as she opened it, Phe instantly grabbed Elisabeth's hand and pulled her into the room.

"Greetings and salutations!" She had a house guest, and no tea. This was dire. Closing the door behind Betsy, Phe just rocked on her heels, still smiling despite the lack of crumpets and tea for the visit. "How feel you today?"

Well, this was a turn. She didn't even rhyme. That was a very good sign and Betsy smiled and gave Phe's hands a squeeze. "I'm well. Thank you. How are you, pet? You sound wonderful."

Betsy didn't need tea but standing around awkwardly in the middle of the room wouldn't do. "Shall we sit? Visit for a bit?" It was accidental but it made her laugh. "Lord, you're talking straight and I'm the one rhyming now."

Phe couldn't help but giggle at that, "Comes and goes, it does. She's mostly not a raving loon, but on occasion," Phe just shrugged off the end. She seemed to know more when she was about to go off and make less and less sense. There were moments still, of course. But they were fewer now.

Not arguing, Ophelia moved into the room before Elisabeth, sitting on the floor rather than her bed or the vacant one. Miss Charlotte was taking up Phe's bed, her newly reacquired violin being lovingly pandered to for the moment. "Social or business?" Naturally she meant the call, the visit. And even if Ophelia wasn't the business, she could tell that there was this little bit of loneliness clinging to Elisabeth. It wasn't cloying, more like a mild annoyance of separation, but Phe understood that perfectly.

"Well, it's an improvement anyway." Betsy replied sitting down on the bed at first before sliding down to the floor when it was awkward with Phe so far below her.

She took a second to think before giving the redhead a shrug. "Can't it be both? I do want to gradually ween you off my support but now that you're more coherent I can't see why we can't just visit."
