She was used to being alone but Betsy didn't often feel lonely. She missed Jack even if she agreed with the punishment. She wasn't really aware when it happened but at some point the other members of the team sort of faded into the background for her and she only really hung out with her lover. Was it fair to seek out friends she neglected now that

Elisabeth.
It wasn't that they were great friends, not in the least, however since the calming sort of practice Elisabeth had preformed on Ophelia's mindset, well the girl was really doing a whole lot better. Bouncing across to the door, grinning broadly as she opened it, Phe instantly grabbed Elisabeth's hand and pulled her into the room.
"Greetings and salutations!" She had a house guest, and no tea. This was dire. Closing the door behind Betsy, Phe just rocked on her heels, still smiling despite the lack of crumpets and tea for the visit. "How feel you today?"

Betsy didn't need tea but standing around awkwardly in the middle of the room wouldn't do. "Shall we sit? Visit for a bit?" It was accidental but it made her laugh. "Lord, you're talking straight and I'm the one rhyming now."

Not arguing, Ophelia moved into the room before Elisabeth, sitting on the floor rather than her bed or the vacant one. Miss Charlotte was taking up Phe's bed, her newly reacquired violin being lovingly pandered to for the moment. "Social or business?" Naturally she meant the call, the visit. And even if Ophelia wasn't the business, she could tell that there was this little bit of loneliness clinging to Elisabeth. It wasn't cloying, more like a mild annoyance of separation, but Phe understood that perfectly.

She took a second to think before giving the redhead a shrug. "Can't it be both? I do want to gradually ween you off my support but now that you're more coherent I can't see why we can't just visit."

Martini and Ric obviously made the effort, Ric more so than the time manipulator since Ric was consciously aware at all times. But Phe wouldn't mind having friends, outside of her boys at least. "Rooms all changed, how do you feel? Sorry your boy's away from the field."
It shouldn't be too surprising, but Ophelia usually made it a point to know what was going on around her, even if just to know how people felt about such things.

Betsy gave the girl a little shrug. "I like them actually. I prefer having my own bathroom. You know, my room is directly below yours. I don't think it was intentional but it's convenient. The closer we are the less energy I burn keeping our link up. And if you ever need me for anything, I'm close." All she could do really was nod about Jack. "Thank you but he put himself there. It was idiotic for him to go after Allerdyce during the mission. He knows it. He's got a few things to work out but I think it will be for the better."

If Betsy was close, that was good. Ophelia wouldn't drain her by relying on her too much, and it would keep Phe calm if anything ever happened. The fact that Rictor and Martini were both a fair distance away, and she was on her own, it brought back a touch of the isolation she felt from way back when. "Not sure how she feels about the single yet. We'll see how it goes."
As to Jack, well, Ophelia had no real opinion of it, although separation from a partner was never good in her books -the longing that usually went with the distance was bitter and occasionally sore, like something far too spicy in her mouth. "Think a little, but bad in a cell. Clinical and sterile, but still somehow like hell."
