Mariachis are my companions, when I sing my song - OTA

Ric was drunk, not so much so to the point where he could barely stand let alone see straight, but enough to make sure that walking in a straight line was a little harder than normal.

Stumbling through camp he drank from the bottle of saké he'd managed to aquire off of the guards, all thanks to a bit of bartering and dealing whilst no-one was really around to stop him. All day Ric had been ignoring the fact that it was his birthday, up until the point he'd come back to the team room and found a parcel on his bed from his Mama Vivi. It had been gone through and checked obviously by the military before it's arrival here.

That had pissed Ric off so in response he'd raided his own alcohol stash and begun the steady process of obliterating the memory of his birthday from his head.

Currently he was out under his favourite tree, legs stretched out across the dirt and grass, head leant back against the trunk of the tree and his eyes closed. The half drunk bottle of saké was propped up besides him as he sang loudly to himself, drumming out the beat with his hands.

"Soy un hombre muy honrado, que me gusta lo mejor. Las mujeres no me faltan, ni al dinero, ni el amor. Jineteando en mi caballo, por la sierra yo me voy. Las estrellas y la luna, ellas me dicen donde voy.  Ay, ay, ay, ay. Ay, ay, mi amor. Ay, mi morena. De mi corazon..."
