There was too much to do, too much to do and too much...
Planting herself in a seat, Ophelia openly stared at the young woman across the table, utterly invading her private feelings. She did it without care; emotions weren't like thoughts, it wasn't like she had anything tangible to grasp to. Emotions were so fleeting.
"Cock-a-doo, why so blue?" It might seem odd at times, but Ophelia's somewhat harmonic voice seemed to fit fine with her melodic rhymes.

"Eh... just thinking. A dangerous past time for some people like us. Myself included I guess." Stirring the bowl of vanilla scooped goodness the mutant finally took at least a small bite to eat trying to force a cheery smile. "To much of a long flight to leave open ended questions 's all."

"Don't try too hard, they come in time. Answers without questions aren't worth a dime." Ophelia naturally could tell that the smile, although seeming bright and cheery, was forced.

Vague but close enough to be a little white lie. For now it would do or so she hoped and thought it would. With a smile she offered Ophelia her right hand in greeting. "I'm Alyssa. Don't think I remember seeing you around the camp back in the Icebox."

Sliding into a nearby seat and hooking his cane on the back of it, Ty laced his fingers together, head tilted as he assessed the girl's situation. Perhaps it might have been more prudent to remain silent, but just because he could, didn't necessarily mean he would. "Penny for your thoughts?"

Which lead her to giving a sheepish smile and trying to lie. "Just thinking is all. To many questions and not enough answer sort of thing." She shifted in the chair a little, finally taking a bite of the half melted ice cream.

He settled his tall frame back into the chair, arms crossed as he answered her. "A vague yet unrevealing answer. Very enlightening." There might have been more than just a hint of amusement in his tone.
