"Eat it, baby." She flipped her two cards, grinning at Manuel the entire time. Confidence radiated off her, since she was about ninety percent sure she'd just taken it from him.
She took a shot of vodka, pouring herself another and knocking it back too, waiting to see Manuel's cards, along with those at the table still in the hand.

"Bollocks to you both." He turned both cards in his hand face down on the table, pulling out.
The only reason he was even there was to try and relax. Easy enough with the crowd. Although he was breaking one of his rules. He plopped his elbows on the table, chin in his hands and waited for the others to go.

"I'm out." she leaned back in her chair, tipping back a shot of vodka with a small wince and a huff.

"Fold." He was smiling as he spoke, his hands moving to the bottle of vodka beside him and, not bothering with a glass, he knocked back a mouthful straight from the bottle.

Without even looking, she tossed in a chip, figuring it was the done thing, and grinned. "Along a line, we're all fine."

He had never played poker, hell, he had never played cards before in his life, but there was a first time for everything. Martini glanced at the cards he had been given, pushing in about half his chips. "So, what's the point here?"

Looking at the bet, he shook his head. "Too rich f'my blood. I'm out." He felt something ping him in the back of the head and he turned around to glare at his brother, snagging one of his chips off of the table and winging it back at him.
