Asher made his way through the halls taking his time to see who was around. He had his hands shoved in his pockets his book tucked under his arm. This place always felt cold no matter how many layers he had on. It was one of the main reasons he didn't get out of his room too much. He made his way toward the mess hall figuring he'd get something to ( Read more... )

*Edie walked slowly into the halls. This place was starting to get to her and she just wanted to get out and do something. She felt like dressing up and going out dancing and drinking.

She let out a long sigh as she walked into the mess hall. There was no way that was going to happen any time soon...

... or ever again.*

Asher looked up when he heard someone else come in. He gave Edie a little smile gesturing for her to come to where he was sitting. "Hey there."

He took another drink of his coffee.

Hi.

*She sat opposite him, and reached across when he placed his mug down to take it. She sipped his drink and then put it back in front of him.*

How're you? It's been a while.

"It's easy for this place to turn people into hermits. Well I already was one this place just encouraged it,"he shrugged a little. He didn't care that she snagged some of his drink at all. It was just sharing with Edie.

Emma didn't know where the headache came from. Or what it was about. But she was over it already. Heading to the mess hall, she ignored anyone she passed until she reached the kitchen, took an ice pack from the freezer and had it firmly pressed to her forehead.

Once the cool was pressing to her temples, she took a minute to look around. Fairly quiet for the mess hall. And there was the gunsman that she hadn't spoken to yet. She couldn't even pick his name from the air right then.

This headache was killing her patience.

Asher looked up when the blonde came in. He didn't say anything as she didn't seem to want to talk. He watched her walk back and get an ice pack sipping at his coffee. He offered her a small smile when she turned and looked at him.

He seemed welcoming enough, so Emma took the few steps to sit in front of him, a small quirk to her lips all she could manage currently.

"Are you always so quiet?"

"There are some activities I get louder for,"he gave her an open smile.

His mind was easily accessible if she cared to look. Though the farther back his memories went the fuzzier they became. The only really clear details made it clear he was much older than he looked.
