"Hot fudge sundae sounds great. I could use some commiseration." she laughed, reaching up to pull her hair free from the bun and put it into a ponytail instead.
"You're pretty sneaky." she commended him, studying him as he put the watches back on.

He adjusted the time with one hand as he slipped the leather jacket back on over his black T-shirt. "And a healthy dose of imagination also comes in handy. I managed to break Ric's nose the first time he and I got in a fight."

"You broke his nose? Well, he must have forgiven you." She thought of the other man who'd been with him, a wry grin crossing her face. He'd been just as good looking. "I can imagine that imagination comes in handy in all sorts of places."

He smirked a little at Kat's last comment. "Why yes, yes it does. If you have anymore money, I'm sure Ric and I would be happy to put on another demonstration to show you how. Joining in is encouraged!" Okay, Ric definitely would have slugged him for that. Or encouraged him, he wasn't sure which.
