I just got a job last week but gave some thought to applying to liquor stores. The problem is, I'm 21.5 years old and I've never purchased alcohol or been drunk. I felt like no one would hire me if I didn't know jack shit about alcohol.

Maybe the block capitals are putting people off applying.

Try and make the job sound nice: friendly working environment, gain retail experience, etc.
