Consider me a player for the 'opposite team'... the over-employed. I'm the manager of a liquor store and I cannot find one single competent employee in the whole freaking town so I am pulling double shifts and overtime like it's going out of style. I've posted several craigslist ads and have otherwise advertised the position but still, only idiots apply. If I were to post a craigslist ad at this point it'd look like this:
PART TIME LIQUOR STORE CLERK NEEDED
1. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK BY YOURSELF AND NOT INSULT CUSTOMERS.
("ID, NOW, OR GET OUT" = not good customer service.)
2. MUST BE ABLE TO READ SIGNS AND CHECK OFF LISTS.
(What, my friends can't use the employees only bathroom?)
3. MUST NOT SELL ALCOHOL TO CHILDREN.
(17 isn't legal age? lol wut)
4. MUST HAVE SERVING IT RIGHT CERTIFICATE; YES, YOU HAVE TO DO A TEST TO WORK HERE.
5. MUST BE LEGAL AGE.
(Numbers 1, 2, and 3 are top priority as I've had to fire three people in the past month. And I hate firing people. And I'm a procrastinator.)
If you can meet those requirements and are looking for part-time employment on Vancouver Island, let me know. I could use you. D: Otherwise, does anyone here know of any good sites to look for people on?
