Full- vs Part-time vs Education

Is anyone here narrowing their searching to strictly full-time or strictly part-time, or is everyone pretty much going for everything they somewhat qualify for? I'm in a transitional, unemployment dilemma.

I've had mostly part-time jobs since I graduated from college in 2007 (when I wasn't unemployed, anyway). And they're a huge pain. I'm done with them, unless they're on weekends or otherwise not during normal business hours. (Or unless I get into grad school, in which case my hours would go all wonky anyway.) I do have a part-time job right now but it doesn't start until 7pm, so I can still do things during regular business hours.

I totally sympathize with you on the feeling inadequate. I find a lot of jobs that I know I could do, but it feels like I'm never really going to be given a chance to show what I can do.

Have you thought of doing proofreading for students in college if there's a college nearby? I'm considering doing that, just looking into a lot of the logistics. It could help give you experience if you're fairly quick at it.
