introduction and a question.

I come from one of the current unemployment capitals of Canada: Windsor, Ontario. Most of my friends and the people I meet are unemployed, have been for some time, and are constantly on the job hunt. Well, as time goes on and the recession continues to tank...I learned that its not the price you pay, but the time you spend, with the special people in your life.

Me and my friends go on biking excursions, hang out in parks, share netflix movies, go to free museums, concerts, etc. AND we take lots of pics together. No one said you can be broke and not be happy LOL.

you can go frisbee golfing, be and my boyfriend like to do that when were broke, it's fun and good exersize.

Most libraries have free DVD rentals. Some might be old, but it depends on your county.

At least here in California, museums have free days - usually once a month, always a weekday (thats why I never went when I was employed :-) so I've gone to a few museums now for free.

Our library offers a ton of free classes, lectures, and outdoor movie nights in the park. Check out your library's events schedule. (I am an unemployed librarian, so I should know!)
