have you filled out tax forms yet? i would say whatever date is on your employment forms which put you on payroll or establish tax withholding (or whatever) is the date you put for your first day.

Nope, I have not filled out any forms yet. Just passed the required test to be accepted. I believe they'll be sending me those forms next week though. Silly me. I don't know why I didn't think of using that date.
