When to send resumes...

For those of you sending in resumes to specific people with specific email addresses... do you feel like your email will be buried under other mail if you send it on the weekend?

It really depends. Many people use blackberries and receive immediate notifications about new e-mails. More likely they will forget about weekend messages, unless they are really special or sent by their boss/friend.

Yep. I usually send resumes around 10 a.m. Monday morning. :D

yes. i try to prepare my email with attachments, then save till mid morning on tues-thurs.

i remember having an advice-meeting with a hiring manager who told me the when in general is the best time to call or email.

Depends on the situation. If I really want the job I'll email the company my resume several times. Sure it sounds like spamming but oh well maybe they'll notice my ambitious yet desperate attempt to get work.
