So. Monday afternoon. Like always, I was applying for work on all the different jobs sites, looking for anything that I not only am suited for (generally speaking, customer service/retail), but also wouldn't hate doing. Haha, yes, I did just that while I was waiting for this to be put through the queue. I should edit the post! There are suddenly two more people going through the process of being "tried out" so I won't hear til late afternoon tomorrow.

Honestly, it depends on how desperate you are for money. If you need. it. now. go to the costume place and work for a day or two... or a week... or until November 1st if the other place doesn't hire you. Better to have a job and then get another job offer than no jobs at all.

Haha, thanks! It's a little awkward to explain (as I generally do have to explain it eventually, usually after I find out what the business's dress code policies are) but for an initial interview, it eliminates the distraction of pink hair and the employer focuses on me instead of my haircolour choices.
