So, we had to put my Princess down yesterday. Her liver was failing along with a bunch of other problems, and she had stopped eating or drinking and was having trouble getting around. It happened ridiculously quickly - she was fine (or at least, seemed fine, though in retrospect she hadn't been quite herself for a while) a week ago then just

I'm so sorry to hear about your cat. :( It is so hard to lose a furry friend, but please don't feel selfish about what you had to do. You have eased her pain, and you took the selfless route so that she would not have to suffer from her ailments any longer than necessary. :( Even looking at it that way, however, I know it's impossible to not feel bad about the situation, and to miss your dear friend so much. Again, I'm very sorry. :(

Thanks, I'm doing much better now. The first week was pretty rough, but I'm nearly done feeling sorry for my loss and working on being happy for her, out of pain and hopefully somewhere nice.
