Asparagus Veloute

I am watching Iron Chef. Apparently there was a foie gras tie which means that this is a different foie gras episode than the one I saw where someone lost. I did not know they repeated theme ingredients. So this is the tie breaking half an hour with asparagus show. Mmm. Fish and asparagus. I love asparagus. Unfortunately, I don't make as many vegetables as I would like to. They always go bad on us before I'm ready to use them. I find that when I go to my parents' house or out to dinner and they serve vegetables, I love them almost as much as anything else served.

I really like the Trader Joe's frozen veggies because they all come in singleton sizes and they don't go bad. I especially like the Britney beans and the asian stir fry ones. They also sell fresh veggies in nice sizes that people without a family can use.
