This book follows Cassie and Peck, half sisters who's Aunt Lydia has just passed away and left the house to the two of them. In the will Lydia tells the girls to "seek a thing of utmost value" in the house and stipulates that they have to spend one last summer in the house together. The girls are opposites and spending summers with Lydia at house

I have read this book as well, and think intellectual chick lit is a great way to describe it! Good story and I liked the very different sisters.
