Last night I was at my Mum’s house surfing through the TV guide looking for something to watch. There wasn’t much on.

Me: “How about Cold Case? There’s an episode in which they find nine human skulls in someone’s back garden”.

Mum: “Is it a real cold case?”

Me:  “No, it’s fiction”.

Mum: “Fiction? That’s no fun”.

It’s reassuring

Actually, I did ask her the other day why her hollyhocks and jerusalem artichoke plants are so terrifying massive and she didn't give me a clear answer.
