1. I watched the two stars of the film on TODAY this morning and by the way Kristen Stewart was acting, I got the impression she was thinking she made a HUGE career mistake. No one gave a rats ass she was there... it was all about the dude

I tend to agree with you on this one. Hollywood is not well known for it's ability to make books into movies. On the plus side... in three years they will make it again and call it a reboot.

I've heard from a reliable source that the teenage girls are showing up to signings for the main actor, and scratching themselves on the neck until they bleed, and then telling the fellow all about it. Reports are that he is completely freaked out by the exposure, and doesn't know how to handle it.

I suspect I won't see the movie. I read the book at the demands of a friend's daughter. I am well outside the target demo for this material.
