Lyle had just headed outside for a quick smoke when he thought he smelled something already burning. Curious, he headed towards the beach to see who else was around.

Lyle grinned, seeing smoke rise from driftwood. If that was any indicator of the boy's current mood, it looked like it might be an interesting afternoon.

"You know, if you add a little more wood, you might make a nice bonfire."

Samus stayed quiet and just listened while the boys plotted what to do, it was almost more fun that way really. The thought to use spuds as ammo in a gun had never crossed her mind, surprisingly. Might have something to do with curling up next to the resident cook who did such amazing things with food that didn't involve it being shot out of something..

Lyle glanced around. "I believe we need a hollow tube, some sort of fuse, and a projectile." He eyed the objects that Duo had returned with. "I'm sure some of that might work."

Aa, the joy of loopholes.. not that it would matter to Pluto if she found out anyway.. but Samus wasn't going to tell either.

Lyle grinned at the optimism of the others. At least now they had sorted out the issue at hand. That still only left the actual building of the potato cannon.

"So let's get on it, make a list and get what we need. And hope that Pluto is too busy to notice Neil's undercover work."
