Warnings: Gundam 00 spoilers
Summary: Lockon arrives.

Lockon blinked, looking up at the sky. This didn’t seem right. What had happened? How had he ended up back on Earth even though he had just been in space? Logically he should be dead if he had ended up back on Earth. That was one hell of a fall.

But then again he should be dead anyway. His mind was flashing back to what had seemingly happened only moments before. The battle. Dynames. Haro. He couldn’t help but wonder what had happened. Were Setsuna, Allelujah, Tieria, everyone on the Ptolemy alright? Had Al-Saachez’s Gundam exploded? He really wanted this, but he seriously doubted that it had. Had Haro gotten the Dynames back to the Ptolemy?

He heard the sound of water moving nearby. He glanced over, moving his head slowly as everything seemed to hurt. The ocean. So he was on the beach. Strangely fitting it seemed, to have their base hidden on an island and then to die on the beach. He closed his only good eye, knowing there was nothing more, but to wait for death to come.

Out for his morning run, Jon was lopeing across the sand down the beach. He enjoied his time running, shakeing off the nights sleep and getting his day started.
Spotting a different shape in the sand other than a dune he slowed down, sniffing the air lightly, testing it. The copper tang of iron was strong to his sensitive nose and his ears perked. Another new commer.. and they were hurt. Stepping to the man he looked over him to see how badly he was wounded, the wolfmans shadow falling over him.

Lockon realized vaguely that had shadow had fallen over him. Weakly, he opened his good eye to look up at what was blocking the light. He merely stared dazedly at the creature in front of him. "Oh, great, I'm delusional," he said in a parched voice, closing his eyes again.

Chuckleing in spite of himself, Jon shook his head hearing the man talk. He unslung a canteen from his shoulder and unscrewed the top. Crouching down he gently lifted Lackon's head. "Here, drink, I'll get you to somewhere safe."

Lockon drank from the canteen. It seemed to help some. "Thanks," he said obviously weak.

"Your welcome." Closing and putting the canteen back Jon lifted the pilot easily. "Hold on." Running quickly but smoothly he left the beach and made his way back to the village to the medical hut.

Lockon closed his eyes again. He had already decided he was delusional. He wasn't going to comment anymore, but he held on the best he could anyway.

Jin was sitting in the medical hut, going over some paperwork. He'd started keeping track of the people who came and went with injuries and various ailments.

Pushing open the door with his shoulder Jon went into the medical hut. "Hello?"

Lockon lifted his head slightly, mildly wondering where they were now.

"Jon?" Jin stood up.

"I found him on the beach." Stepping to one of the cots and crouching to lay the pilot on it. "I'm no doctor, I know he's wounded but I can't tell how."

He walked over, rolling his sleeves up. "Jon, get me a towel and some bandages please."

Jon nodded, crossing to the medical cabnit and retriveing the requested items.

"Sir, where does it hurt?" Jin asked as he began to remove Lockon's shirt.

"Everywhere," was the only answer Lockon could think of.

He nodded and began to look over Lockon. There where bruised ribs, burns, and various other injuries. He sighed.

Comming back with the bandages Jon gave them to the doctor and stepped back to remain out of the way.

Jin brushed the man's hair back. He frowned at the blood covering his eye. Without a word, he went to work tending to Lockon's injuries.

"So...I'm alive?" Lockon asked. He really could have sworn he was dead. The battle in space, the explosion...there didn't seem to have been a way he could have survived, but now everything seemed to be telling him he was alive.

"As alive as most of us I would say, yes." Speaking from his place a few steps back.

"Oh..." he said, trying to put things together in his mind. What had happened?

"Just relax for now." Jin instructed.

"Okay," Lockon replied.

Jon remained close in case the doctor needed anything else, mentally fileing through the various scents from the wounded man his nose was picking up. Metal and machine oil, gunpowder.. he could guess he was a pilot of some sort.

Jin healed the worst of his wounds and stepped back, rubbing his forehead.

Lockon blinked. That was strange, to be in pain one moment and to be in significantly less pain the next moment.

Moving forward Jon put a paw on Jin's shoulder. "Are you alright Doctor?"

"I'm alright. Thank you for the concern Jon. Nothing a good meal and some tea won't cure." He smiled at the werewolf.

Jon smiled in return, that he could help with. "Would you like for me to bring you and our new arrival something?"

"That would be appreciated."

He nodded and glanced down at the now sleeping new commer. It seemed they had quite a few arriving this way. "Anything you'd prefer or just what I can bring?"

"Bring what you like Jon. But, I would like some black tea."

"Alright, I can be to the cafe and back in just a little while."

"Thank you Jon."
