Rachel was sitting on the couch and decided or not to just relax or go and fix herself up for the party some more. After all she was the hostess and she didn't want to just sit and think of things to say to her father for not showing up to either performance of the school musical. How could he do that to her? She would never forgive him for doing this to her. She sighed as she cleaned just to stay busy with herself. Finally she heard the doorbell and went and answered it ( ... )

"That's fine, I'm actually not allowed to drink." Finn said, albeit a little sheepishly.

"This should be fun." Finn said, smiling. He grabbed himself some cheese and a soda. "It will be more fun on Halloween to get drunk."

"Well, its a good thing that I just got soda then." She laughed as she took a drink from her champagne glass. "So I saw that your parents came, that must have been exciting for you."

"Yes, it should be." She grabbed some food and then ate a cracker. "Yes it will be. That party is going to be amazing, I'm excited about wearing my costume."

"I am too. And yeah, I'm glad they came! It meant so much." Finn said, giving her a smile.

"Yeah, after I came home so drunk after Jeff's party, they said no more drinking for me." He said, but knowing he was totally going to drink some at the Halloween party the next night.

"Should be a good party." Finn said, as he took a sip of his soda.

"I kept looking over at them while we were doing some of our scenes. They really seemed to be so proud of you. I know that I am, you are so talented in so many ways." She said smiling over at him.

"Yeah my parents just tell me as long as I'm careful and don't drink while driving then they don't really mind. Plus, they trust me, I only had that one incident so far and I don't want to go down that road again." But having a couple drinks here and there at the costume party wouldn't be such a great deal.

"Yes, it will be. I can't wait to see what everyone is going to be wearing. This year is just going really fast. Pretty soon Christmas will be coming up and Hanukkah" She smiled, "I don't want this year to end, cause that just means graduation is getting closer and closer."
