Who: Rachel and GLEE/Musical Kids Where: Rachel's House What: CAST PARTY!!! When: Wednesday October 26, 1956 after the show Status/Rating: Incomplete/PG-13ish WARNINGS: Drinking and I think that would be the extent of it.
Lauren was glad to have the play behind her. Though, if she was honest she had enjoyed herself. But now it was time to party. Lauren's parents had come to this performance so she went home with them. Once there she quickly changed. Before leaving for Rachel's, Lauren's mom told her not to stay out too late;it was a school night. Lauren smiled to let her mom know she heard.
Lauren found herself humming "I Feel Pretty" while driving to Rachel's house. She sighed. She was going to have West Side Story songs in her head for weeks. Thankfully the drive was short. Lauren got out of her car, glancing around as she walked up to the door, trying to see if anyone else made it yet. She rang the doorbell and waited.
Finn went home with his parents, and got changed for his girlfriend's party. He had had a lot of fun playing Tony, but in a way, he was glad it was over. He had been pretty stressed while it was going on, and nervous. He had been worried about getting all of his lines right and all the words to all the songs. Thank God that he had done well.
He got changed as quickly as he could. He wondered who else was going to show up at the party. He went to give his parents the news. "So, I will most likely be home late, but I promise I'll be safe." He wasn't planning on drinking at all, he'd gotten yelled at for what had happened at Jeff's party.
Carole nodded. "Just don't drink, or if you do, don't drink a lot." She said, giving him a hug.
Burt said, "Let's go with not at all." He clapped Finn on the shoulder. "Great job as Tony, son."
Finn gave them both a big smile. "Thanks, Burt." He said, as he told them bye and headed out to his truck. He drove over to Rachel's, got out, and went up to ring the bell.
Brittany headed to Rachel's, glad there was another party. She had had a lot of fun at Jeff's, as long as there was dancing, she was going to have fun.
She'd been thinking about Santana a lot, and she kind of hoped she'd be here so they could dance together. She just wanted to spend a little time with her.
Brittany headed up the walk, and rang the bell. She was making it her mission to have fun at this party.
Rachel was sitting on the couch and decided or not to just relax or go and fix herself up for the party some more. After all she was the hostess and she didn't want to just sit and think of things to say to her father for not showing up to either performance of the school musical. How could he do that to her? She would never forgive him for doing this to her. She sighed as she cleaned just to stay busy with herself. Finally she heard the doorbell and went and answered it
( ... )
"Hi Rachel," Lauren took a step inside. "It's cool you're having this party." She smiled at the other girl. "Thanks. You were a great Maria. I mean it." Without another word, Lauren headed down the stairs.
She grabbed a coke and took a seat on the couch. Lauren heard the doorbell ring and waited to see who else showed up.
Jeff sighed. He was definitively exhausted. And from the look on Sam's face, he guessed the other boy was too. Yet, this was the last big hurray. Their last chance to have fun while still in ''play'' mode, before having to return to their normal lives. As the young blond-haired male pressed the doorbell with a single finger, he smiled at his boyfriend, before whispering in his ear.
''You did great out there, you know, Sammy... perhaps... after the party, we could go back to my place... You... worked quite hard. You deserve a chance to... relax.''
His tone made it quite clear what he was actually suggesting, but for now, Jeff settled to stop teasing Sam and simply wait for someone to open the door.
