Yes, I'm writing you from... LONDON! HEEEEEE! Arrived last night, settling in, the family seems lovely, and Jacob, the little boy I'm supposed to babysit, is just too cute for words! Oh, and the house is great and my room is fantastic (never had a bed this big!). I can't believe I have two months ahead of me to LIVE IN LONDON. Can't quite grasp the ( Read more... )

I'm really very happy for you dear! You could explore the surroundings and then spend some nice time in Hyde Park if the weather's hot, or maybe visit a museum, the National Gallery is actually free if I remember correctly.

Oh, and of course you should let me know if I need to bring some warm clothes with me, I'm a bit lost at the moment.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, YOU! *huggles*

Right now I'm just... exhausted! We were out all morning, and I'm already ready to crash. This is going to take some getting used to.

The weather is NOT hot. For our standards, anyway. Here, "hot" is 21°C. O_O So bring warm clothes, seriously! I'd go for an "onion" style. Things you'd wear in October/November. Short-sleeved t-shirts and sweaters, jeans and long trousers, waterproof shoes and jacket. Bring also some summer clothes, but I don't expect to be using them much, they're saying it will be a rainy summer.

This week I think I'm just going to be taking it easy. I generally will be working afternoons (from 3 to 7.30), except this week when I'm needed tomorrow and Wednesday morning too. I'm probably going to explore the neighbourhood for now, and leave the venturing into London Center to Thursday and Friday. And the weekend, of course.

Hey you! How was your trip? And how's the family and the baby boy? Details little girl! Lol

I'm happy those two reviews helped you... they didn't do much for me unfortuately. I get the self loathing and it makes sense but I still think it all sucks. From BWB to Donna. It all sucks. I could go on rambling my reasons but I'll leave it at that. I'll just accept it and when I rewatch the epi I'll stop watching before BWB. I do the same with 513 in QaF after all and I live perfectly happy! Lol

I'm going to have to rewatch the ending after the titles then.. thanks for the tip :)

I still think it sucks too, but at least now I understand what was going on in RTD's head.

I am absolutely shattered. I've been running around all morning and for how well I understand English, I still have to concentrate really hard to follow and take part in conversations. Add to that trying to decipher the ENGLISH baby-talk of a boy that's just learning how to speak, and his little 4monthsold brother who has a cold and is cranky, and I have a big headache. I hope it'll get easier.

Will write more tonight.

Thought you might be interested in this: David Duchovny's blog for the movie. As in, that's really David writing!

Ouch... Sorry to hear that hon. I think it'll get easier once you've lived there for a while. Talking english every single minute will help you think in english too and it'll make understanding them and joining conversations easier. Of course the baby will be the most difficult one... I still have troubles understanding *italians* 2 years old!

OMG thanks for the link!!!! David here I come!!! *is excited*

*hugs you tight*
