Not that it's any of your business, but we're not together. But it'd serve you right if we were, actin' like you have any right to tell me who I can spend time with. You didn't like Bill at first, either. You and Tara both tried to run him off.

Loki hasn't been good about meeting the neighbors because, well, he's never actually bothered with it before. But he can smell the food and sometimes it just gets under his skin that he can't ever do anything more than that, and yeah, it's pretty much his own fucking fault. If Bartleby was here, he'd make a remark about Loki finally maturing past the level of a toddler, and then Loki would do something decidedly toddler-ish, and he'd feel better.

Instead he walks the short distance next door, does in fact remember to knock, but then lets himself in anyway.

"Man, is that pie?"
