"Kate, right?" she asks, when she's inside. "Got the message. Glad to hear it."

While he had offered up the room in the library, Kate was the one running this show. He had taken a seat a few down from where she was, determined to let this meeting remain professional. Spencer stirred his coffee with a plastic straw, then gazed up at her.
"Do you have any specific agenda for this meeting?"

After helping himself to a sprinkled doughnut, Jason heard the question from the only other male who was currently occupying the room. He stood next to him, not bothering to sit down and leaned against the table. "Hold your horses, bud. You gotta figure out who you've got before runnin' down the bad guys." He takes a bite of the doughnut, giving Reid a meaningful raise of the eyebrows. He doesn't notice the cluster of sprinkles that falls onto his jeans and the floor below.

"We've got a pretty good idea who we've got, and we're not even sure if there are bad guys."
She looked him over and raised her brows.
"And you are?"

When Kate asks the question, Jason stands up straight and offers her his free hand in greeting. "Jason Stackhouse, ma'am. Bon Temps, Louisiana police force."
