Aeryn had been doing her fair share of exploring around Taxon the past few days. The whole shock and awe of the place had worn off, though she still wasn't completely clear on how or why she got there. The last thing she remembered was dying, so being brought back to life on a foreign planet with no sign of her shipmates was a hell of a surprise. ( Read more... )

She wasn't, though Cam wasn't particularly inclined to admit that. He couldn't tell SG-1--the SG-1 which stayed in the Mountain--that the Mountain wasn't enough. They all knew that--they all thought it, at one time or another. It was his duty not to reenforce that, and break whatever hold they had to home ( ... )

Aeryn pulled the tape tightly around her hands and clenched them into fists a few times to test the strength of her job. She had done well; she always did. Despite the measures she took to try and rid herself of the lifestyle of her past, she was, and always would be, a soldier at her core. Things like that just came naturally to her; she had been bred specifically for that purpose. But there were often times when such natural things to her old self seemed so foreign to the person she was trying to become. They said violence never solved anything, but what did they know ( ... )

Honestly, he was thinking about getting a nametag everytime he left the mountain. For now, his pride insisted he wait until someone he actually knew confused him for the other one. He really hoped that day wouldn'y come.

At the woman's confusion, he held up a hand, and shook his head. "Nope." What was her name...? He squinted at the woman a moment. "Aeryn, right? I'm the other one. Mitchell. Cameron."

He couldn't really get annoyed at the people who mistook him. It had to be that much more frustrating for them that the guy had vanished off the face of the City. Hopefully, for their sake, not in the literal sense.

Aeryn swallowed hard and stiffened a little as he approached and felt her heart race. The last time she had seen him, horrible things had transpired between them. Did he remember what happened between them? Or was he like Chiana in the sense that things they knew were different and oddly misplaced in time? Before she could contemplate any further on the matter, her inquiry had been answered ( ... )
