I have flour everywhere! Ask Ray, its true! I am making all of dessert, and a couple of starch dishes for Thanksgiving in LA with a cousin and 12 friends. Who knew thanksgiving was so messy!

My cousin lives in LA, and on Halloween she went to see Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog played on the big screen rocky horror style (with far less nudity). and then she met Joss Whedon and got her picture taken with him, and Nathan Fillion was there too!!!!!!

the fan girl in me is jealous

why, oh why doesn't my supervisor speak fluent english? it makes things kinda difficult.

So, I love my parents, but having two moms and a trans dad makes filling out federal forms kinda tricky.

I had a chance to talk to Ray for literally 30 seconds today. He just wanted to let people know that they're heading into New Orleans. Should be interesting!

So Ray just left to go in the opposite direction of most people right now. Vandenberg sent two teams (Ray included) today to Louisiana to document the humanitarian effort surrounding Hurricane Gustav. He's pretty excited, and it should be a really cool opportunity.
